MJF 3D Printing — PA12 Nylon (Gold Coast & Brisbane)
Production-grade nylon parts with excellent strength and consistency.
Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) delivers strong, isotropic PA12 nylon parts ideal for jigs, fixtures and end-use components. We tune part orientation and packing for strength, surface finish and lead time.
Why choose Multi Jet Fusion (MJF)
MJF produces dense, isotropic PA12 parts with excellent strength, heat resistance, and repeatability. Ideal when you’d otherwise reach for machined aluminium or injection-moulded nylon. Parts come off the printer support-free, so internal channels, lattices, and interlocking geometry are achievable. We use MJF for final production parts that must perform in the real world (heat, load, vibration).
Capabilities
-
End-use durability: PA12 stands up to clips, living hinges, fasteners, snap features and daily knocks.
-
Design freedom: Undercuts, complex internal passages, hinged features, lightweight lattices.
-
Batch consistency: Tight dimensional repeatability across runs, great for low-volume production.
-
Clean finishes: Bead-blast matte as standard; dye-black available for a uniform, pro look.
Typical Specs
-
Material: PA12 (nylon), natural grey; optional dyed black.
-
Layer height: ~80 μm.
-
Tolerances: ±0.2 mm typical (feature-/size-dependent).
-
Maximum part size (single piece): 380 × 284 × 380 mm
-
Lead time: 10-14 business days typical
Applications
-
Caravan & 4×4: latches, brackets, hose manifolds, weather damaged vents
-
Industrial & plant: machine guards, pneumatic manifolds, ruggedised enclosures, seal protectors
-
Motorsport/UAV: custom dash clusters, engine bay supports/mounts, replacement door and window components
-
Electronics: PA12 enclosures with heat-set inserts, strain-relief grommets, jigs for assembly lines.
-
Replace Aluminium: replace simple CNC plates/brackets with complex, lighter forms.
